Dave's Space Museum Project

Dave's Space Museum Project

Venue Info

Dave Owen has undertaken a long-term project to create a boutique space exhibition in Te Awamutu. Although in its very early stages, this is an exciting endeavour that holds great promise. Dave's collection of space memorabilia is quite small (there are other better collections in New Zealand) but his enthusiasm and willingness to share his treasures with the public makes it an interesting visit. Dave is constantly on the lookout for new exhibits and loves talking about possibilities with visitors.

Dave also runs live presentations using a custom-built astronomy simulator and multimedia delivery system. He hosts group sessions of up to 30 people, entertaining and educating visitors of all ages with his unique style.

Currently the museum project is located in a single room behind Dave's house. Because the room can only accomodate 30 people, please book in advance to make sure you get the best experience with no delays.

BOOKINGS REQUIRED.
